The Sederta SedNet SD-VME-400 400 Mbps Master VMEbus Firewire
Adapter enables high-speed interconnections for heterogeneous
real-time systems. Based on the FireWire (IEEE 1394) High Performance
Serial Bus, the adapter bridges any VME-based systems, including IP modules,
to PCI, PMC, SBus, CompactPCI® as well as other VME systems.
The card can be extended with up to 3 optional IP module carrier boards,
each allowing up to 4 IP modules, for a total of 12 IndustryPack sites
(32 MHz or 8 MHz). IP modules and all attached nodes are fully synchronized for real-time applications.
