Description

PMC-Gigabit-DT2 is a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) with dual 1000BaseT gigabit Ethernet controller ports that relieves bandwidth bottlenecks and allows rapid incorporation of Gigabit Ethernet technology into high-performance CompactPCI systems. The Ethernet network interface complies with the IEEE 802.3 specifications for 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 1000Base T over category 5 twisted-pair cable. Full-duplex and half-duplex modes are supported. The PMC-Gigabit-DT2 is compliant with standard single-wide PMC IEEE P1386.1, PCI 2.2, and PCI-X 1.0 specifications. Dual integrated low-powered MAC/PHY functionality is provided by an Intel 82546EB which appears on the PCI bus as a multifunction device.
